Welcome to the official website of USF Bulls tournament softball!

USF softball began hosting tournament play in 1997. After traveling to different Bay area homes, the team settled in Clearwater in 2003. Since then, spring has transformed the Eddie C. Moore softball complex into Bull’s Country.

Partnering once again with the City of Clearwater and the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Convention and Visitors Bureau, USF softball proudly hosts the 2011 USF Series. From 24 teams over a long weekend in 1997, this event has exploded into the largest NCAA softball tournament in the country. In 2010, we welcomed 57 colleges from around the nation and played over 200 games during three different tournaments and four different weekends.

Join us in sparkling Clearwater to cheer on the USF Bulls and check out the best NCAA Women’s Collegiate Fast Pitch Softball has to offer!

Fun Fact:

USF and the City of Clearwater have played host to the last two Team USA pre-Olympic tours. In 2004, Team USA was bound for Athens. They made an appearance in Clearwater and created a USF milestone. USF head coach Ken Erickson played against his Bulls for the first time ever as part of the Team USA staff. Ken later traveled to Greece with Team USA and returned with a gold medal.

In 2008, Team USA returned during their Bound for Beijing tour. Sadly, this may have been their last appearance in Clearwater as the International Olympic Committee has cut the sport of softball from the program. We won’t see them in 2012, but we have high hopes to welcome them back in 2016.
